I was showing clients houses on Saturday during the crazy rainstorms in Delaware County, PA. We were set to see houses in Havertown, Narberth, Wynnewood and Ardmore. It was a nasty day to be getting in and out of the car multiple times. But, I had learned from previous experiences to always come prepared with multiple umbrellas and a few towels to dry off, getting soaked is unavoidable when it’s raining. Being prepared with multiple umbrellas, just in case they forgot theirs, is always a smart move. I like my clients to feel comfortable when they are looking at houses, especially the nervous first time homebuyers. Having an umbrella will allow them to take a few moments and examine the outside of the house, instead of just running inside. The outdoor space is key for most individuals searching for a new home. A few other things that I like to keep in my car for clients are: gum, water bottles, tissues, and a pen and paper to take notes. I always say that you can never be overprepared. Client comfort and satisfaction is my goal.
Being prepared for anything is essential
