I was recently contacted by a young professional from San Diego, California who was relocating to the Main Line Area, outside of Philadelphia, for work. She had three months to complete the process before her job began full-time in Philadelphia. She had a list of requirements; including being close to public transportation to commute to the city for work, and areas for outdoor recreation.
We spoke about the steps of buying a home and relocating. She understood that she needed to think carefully about what she desired to make her transition as smooth as possible.
