When I was on vacation in Seattle, Washington, I had dinner with a friend who moved to Seattle recently. A bunch of his friends from Seattle met us at Tula’s after dinner to listen to some jazz music. While I was chatting with one of his friends, the topic of work came up and he said he was being relocated to the Philadelphia area. Of course as a realtor, I asked him if he had a realtor and if he had started his process of searching for a new home in Philadelphia. He mentioned he did not have a realtor and has actually never been to the east coast; needless to say, he was very nervous about the concept of moving across the country without ever seeing his future home. By the end of the night, he decided he would come visit the east coast and we would look at a bunch of different neighborhoods, Narberth, Wynnewood, Bala Cynwyd, and Ardmore, to name a few. Since he is working in the city, living near public transportation is a must. Until he arrives, I am sending him listings and information about the different neighborhoods that he might be interested in living.
